TAMPA, FL – June 25, 2025 – At the 93rd Annual Meeting of the United States Conference of Mayors, American Management Services and the Partner America™ initiative brought fresh energy to the conversation on small business support.
Executive Vice President and COO Louis Mosca, of American Management Services, joined Burnsville, MN Mayor Elizabeth Kautz to emphasize the vital role mayors play in fostering thriving local economies through daily engagement with small business owners.
In a session buzzing with practical takeaways, Mosca introduced mayors to a creative new tool: Small Business Playing Cards. These action-oriented cards provide quick, high-impact ideas for local leaders—like walking Main Street weekly, hosting roundtables, or spotlighting local entrepreneurs online.
“Every mayor wants to support small businesses, but it’s hard to know where to start. These cards simplify that,” Mosca shared. “They make small business engagement approachable, consistent, and fun.”
To help mayors nationwide activate these strategies in their cities, Partner America is offering free downloadable templates of the Small Business Playing Cards.
The 93rd Annual Meeting, hosted by Tampa Mayor Jane Castor and USCM President Mayor Andrew J. Ginther of Columbus, OH, convened city leaders from across the U.S. to drive policy and innovation. Partner America remains a proud partner in this mission, delivering real-world tools—not just reports—to empower America’s business backbone.
